If the infrared beams are reflected by a vehicle, the measuring system determines the position of the vehicle by measuring the time of flight.  <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In addition to position determination and speed detection, the measuring device recognizes the various height profiles of motor vehicles and can thus roughly classify them, measure their distances from each other and assign their lanes. The recorded vehicles are divided into classes (cars, trucks, etc.) and the change in driving behavior is evaluated.<\/span><span
