Today, a delegation from Great Britain visited the eHighway in Schleswig-Holstein. At the invitation of the Siemens company, the group had come to Hamburg yesterday evening and traveled on to Bad Oldesloe by train on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Here they were welcomed by the FuE-Zentrum and, after a safety briefing, were first taken by two minibuses to the substations at the grid connection point in Reinfeld, where they were given a guided tour of the facilities. On the further way to L\u00fcbeck, the overhead line route was then discussed and examined in detail.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>In L\u00fcbeck, the group then met representatives of Autobahn GmbH, the state of Schleswig-Holstein, and the project sponsor from Berlin, who each gave an insight into their activities or their relation to and point of view on the eHighway and answered questions from the participants.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The event was concluded with a discussion at the Bode freight forwarding company in Reinfeld.
