EHIGHWAY. Noise along the A1 has been an issue in the neighboring communities for years, and the burden of the highway on residents is undoubtedly high.

However, the planners, builders and the client have not yet been able to substantiate the complaints from local residents about noise pollution, which are attributed to the eHighway, as they have not yet been able to make any observations of their own. However, it is clear to those responsible that the plant must ultimately meet the requirements of immission protection and that any deficiencies must be remedied. However, the classification of the described acoustic phenomena in a physical context, the clarification of causes and the elimination of corresponding defects require on-site assessment in case of recurrence.

The project management has therefore asked – via the municipality – affected fellow citizens for more detailed information on when exactly the noises occurred. Immediate notification was also requested in the event that noise nuisances attributed to the eHighway arise again.
