KIEL. During the commissioning of the eHighway, a defect has been found in a fastening lug of a surplus cross beam/boom that has not been installed. As a precautionary measure, touch-up work was carried out on the cantilevers until mid-September in order to be able to rule out any possible impairments on the part of the fastening lug by means of additional components. The additionally installed components have an approximate length of 20 cm and would compensate for a non-standard fastening lug in the event of a defect.
