Logistics of the future at the Fehmarn Belt Days

WEISSENHÄUSER BEACH. As part of the logRegio session “Sustainable Transport and Mobility/Green Corridor” of the Fehmarn Belt Days 2021, the field trial eHighway Schleswig-Holstein was also a topic on May 31. Reinfelder Spedition Bode, a practical partner in the field trial, spoke about the use of various alternative drive options for heavy-duty transport.

Exchange in the FESH Advisory Board

KIEL. At the meeting of the FESH advisory board on 17.5.2021, representatives from the energy industry, logistics sector, science, municipal institutions, and environmental and nature conservation associations exchanged ideas with the project partners.

NDR reports on maintenance work

EHIGHWAY. The overhead line technology of the eHighway is very similar to the technology used for streetcars. Maintenance of these elements of Schleswig-Holstein’s eHighway is handled by NVS experts from Schwerin, where streetcars are part of the public transport system.

Establishment of a research substation

EHIGHWAY. A research substation was erected Monday night at the Reinfeld junction for the “Energy and network feedback” sub-project of the accompanying research.

Commissioning of an environmental measuring station

EHIGHWAY. On 01 September, an environmental monitoring station was put into operation. It continuously records meteorological data such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, precipitation, radiation, wind direction and wind speed.

Maintenance work on the overhead line system

EHIGHWAY. During the period from April 14 to 23, work was carried out at night on the overhead line of the eHighway on the A1. This was the scheduled first maintenance of the overhead lines.
