In this clip from the FESH video series, you can look forward to an interview with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Lebert from Kiel University of Applied Sciences. Professor Lebert is primarily working on analyzing vehicle technology in the eHighway Schleswig-Holstein field trial and tells us more about the methods and initial findings in his field in this interview.

One method is digital modeling. “Now, of course, we can’t bring the entire infrastructure to the Kassel mountains, for example, on the A7. But what we can do is use the comparison of a simulation model […] to virtually place a truck corresponding to this test trial on a new route,” explains Professor Lebert.
